Design It Your Way

If you are skilled in design, you know that creating designs for T-shirt printing involves slightly different technical considerations. However, with a little knowledge of printing techniques, designers should have no trouble.

Do you have your own design that you would like printed on a T-shirt? Save it in PNG format and upload it using the Design Your Own. In the app, you will be able to choose the product you want to print on (T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, mugs, cushions, puzzles, etc.) and select product options (T-shirt size and colour, etc.).

Within the design tool, you can add text, even curve it, and change its size, font and colour. You can also use all the graphics available in the app, including various templates, clipart and images.

Our print studio offers several different textile printing techniques. All of them provide durable prints, but each technique requires graphics to be prepared a little differently.

We are happy to advise you on how to prepare your graphics so they are suitable for printing. The basic rules are:

• If you want to print a photograph or multicolour design, send us the image without a background and in the highest possible resolution. If you do not know how to remove the background, do not worry—we will remove it for you. If you are unsure whether the image is high enough quality, send it to us at info@garderoba.si and we will check together what we can do. So far, we have always found a suitable solution.
• If your design is vector-based or consists of text, send us a vector PDF file. If you do not know what vector graphics are or how to send text artwork, simply send us what you have—we will provide further instructions on preparing the design if necessary. In any case, we will make the most of what you send us.

As you know, if we receive high-quality artwork, the final product can be great too. If we mix poor ingredients, the result is sometimes not the best. But sometimes we are lucky and everything works out well.

Garderoba T-shirt Printing

is a brand of the company Gajcom, which has been printing T-shirts for 30 years. T-shirt printing is both a challenge and a pleasure for us. Over the years, we have refined our printing techniques, purchased more and more T-shirt printing machines and, in some cases, even helped develop the technology. We currently print using two premium techniques:

• We print one-off items, small quantities and sample prints using a Kornit Breeze DTG printer. The inks are eco-friendly, and while the printing process is slower, it delivers exceptional quality—prints have vibrant colours, feel soft to the touch, are elastic and, above all, wash-resistant. The printing cost is higher than with other DTG printers, but according to our customers, the noticeable difference in print quality more than makes up for the price difference. Kornit simply ensures that the print remains attractive, does not wash out or fade, and always stays soft to the touch.
• Multicolour screen printing (we can also print complex designs and photographs), soft to the touch, elastic and wash-resistant—and, above all, the price per print remains affordable even for larger quantities.
